You may know the senario, you go away on vacation, you return to find your home
has been infested with fleas and ticks whilst you and your pet were away. Ticks were at large,
Fleas were at large both laying eggs, eating the debris from the carpet,
still multiplying, still waiting eagerly for their next host and
blood dinner. So why don't you put flea control onto autopilot whilst your gone with
one of the following simple light tricks.
Rig up a lamp or bare light bulb around 6 to 12 inches above either a pan/bucket of
soapy water or a reasonable sized board covered in something very sticky, duct tape
would work.
In the absence of a host or warm body, fleas and ticks should be attracted to the
heat of the bulb, because they can't latch onto the hot even surface they drop to
their soapy or sticky end.
